    • Select a team shirt color. Shirt colors are chosen on a first-come, first-served basis when signing up to coach.
  • 04/27/26: Practices can begin if a coach is available. Preliminary rosters will be emailed, and updates will be sent as coaches and players register.
  • 05/05/26 @ 5:30 PM @ Kids, Inc. WareHouse, 2201 SE 27th Ave., Amarillo
    • Coaches’ meeting for all head coaches before the start of the season.

*Coaches can only pick up shirts for PAID PLAYERS. Once a coach has picked up shirts for their paid players, it is the responsibility of the players’ parents to pay and then pick up their player’s shirt. Coaches are not expected to make multiple trips to the WareHouse.

Team Communication

  • First point of communication with each player should be a phone call to the primary contact of each player.
    • Notify Kids, Inc. of any issues.
  • We recommend using a team app such as GroupMe to make it easy for each player’s primary contact to add other parents and to protect personal numbers in a group text format.

Roster

  • Preliminary rosters will be handed out and emailed beginning 04/08/26, as coaches are recruited and teams are formed.
  • Rosters are subject to change. If changes are made, the updated version will be emailed.
  • Kids, Inc. staff do their best to form teams based on neighborhood elementary schools.
  • Variables that affect rosters/team formation
    • Finding a volunteer coach. Thank you for volunteering!
    • When players register: if our staff combines teams from two schools due to coach and/or number of players, then a child registers late, there may not be space to add them to their school’s team. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!

Practices

  • Coaches can reserve gym time by phone once confirmed as the coach for a team.
  • Practices can begin 4/27/26, and after the coach receives their preliminary roster.
  • Every team will be provided a minimum of 1 hour per week of reserved gym time for practice.
