Rockrose Sports Park is poised to transform youth athletics in the Texas Panhandle. Generously donated by Rockrose Development, this 90-acre expanse sets the stage with an outdoor complex. Your donations will shape the future of youth sports in our community, providing growth and opportunity for thousands of aspiring athletes. Join us in building a legacy at Rockrose Sports Park.
We’re over 60% of the way to completing its $30 million capital campaign to construct a state-of-the-art athletic complex for the Amarillo/Canyon region. Please consider a gift today to help us meet our goal.

Did you know Kids, Inc. is a Non-Profit?
It is the mission of Kids, Inc. to develop skills, character, and confidence for children in the Amarillo/Canyon region through quality sports experiences.
why I give
“There are lots of opportunities to give today. Having grown up in the Texas panhandle, Kids Inc. was an important part of my young life and provided me with a tremendous foundation for growth. Kids, Inc. helps kids learn social skills, teaches them how to win and lose, and ultimately how to compete. Boys and Girls build confidence and Kids, Inc. gives them an outlet to stay physically fit. We can think of no better place to give back than to an organization that can make this difference for kids all across the panhandle.”

why I coach
My favorite part about coaching and officiating for Kids, Inc. is watching these kids have the opportunity to shine in front of their family and teammates. Like I said, it puts a smile on my face when they win, and though it’s tough to lose (believe me, we’ve lost our share of games), they are growing and learning during their time as a player at Kids, Inc. no matter what sport they are involved in.
It has been a joy and privilege to volunteer and officiate for Kids, Inc. over the past 5 years. I look forward to more opportunities to serve and work with this great organization.

why I give my time
“I get to see kids play sports year after year, from kindergarten through middle school, and then witness some of them go on to play sports in high school and even achieve the goal of playing at the college level. Kids, Inc. focuses not only on developing children’s athletic skills but also their character through sports experiences.”

History of Kids, Inc.
since 1945
Kids, Inc. Amarillo’s Premier Youth Sports Program is celebrating over 79 years of working with youth in Amarillo, Texas.
Since 1945, we’ve grown from humble beginnings with 11 boys from Glenwood Elementary to become one of the nation’s largest comprehensive youth sports programs. With over 18,000 players and 4,000 volunteer coaches annually, we’ve positively impacted over 1 million individuals across the Amarillo area and the Texas Panhandle.
